Retreat Centre ‘Conscious Earth’
‘Conscious Earth’ is a tranquil and quiet place in the Algarve countryside. The venue is a 40 hectare estate, nestled in the hills north of Silves. It contains it’s own private lakes, a river and groves of olive, tangerine, orange and mandarin.
There is ample opportunity to have a quiet rest in the amazing garden, or go walking – from lovely strolls to challenging hikes.
All of the estate is available to you, whether you choose to walk the boundaries, kickback in a hammock or sit within the stone circle…..or just lay back next to one of the freshwater spring fed lakes, you will find places to truly reconnect with nature and yourself.
As the venue is away from towns and in the hills, there is no ambient light (perfect for star gazing), no noise pollution, no wifi internet and limited-to-no mobile phone signal.
There is a fixed landline connection for emergencies.
Accommodation is in 3-4 beds bedrooms with shared bathrooms, and in camper vans. There is ample opportunity for camping (bring your own camping gear); toilets and showers are provided. See more about accommodation below.

A Typical Day
8:00 AM: Optional Yoga or Chi Gung session
9:00 AM: Breakfast
10:00 AM: Session with Unmani
11:30 AM: Tea break
12:00 PM: Session with Unmani
1:30 PM: Lunch and freetime to relax, go for a walk, go to the pool, socialise or be alone.
7:00 PM: Dinner
8:00 PM: Session with Unmani/Other group activities
How to get there
The nearest airport is Faro Airport. You can either hire a car or the retreat venue can arrange transport from and to Faro airport (50 euros one-way).
You will receive more detailed directions and information once you book your place.
When making your travel arrangements, please make sure you are able to arrive before 7pm on 3rd October and stay for the whole retreat.
Dates & Details
Check in: Thursday 3rd October from 3pm and before 7pm
Check out: Sunday 13th October by 11am
The retreat starts on with dinner on Thursday 3rd October at 7pm followed by an introduction session and ends on Sunday 13th October after breakfast.
Please keep in mind the time that it may take to travel to the venue and MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARRIVE WELL BEFORE 7PM. Unmani likes the whole group to be present for the opening dinner and introduction meeting.
Your registration includes:
– 28 sessions with Unmani (1.5 hour each)
– a small group of up to 16 people
– 3 – 5 days of group silence in between sessions with Unmani
– each session includes sharings and intimate dialogues
– full participation is asked
– talks
– guided meditations
– non-verbal activities (dance, creative expression) that offer ways of exploring truth beyond the words and concepts
– Songs by Robert Hanuman, based on Unmani’s words
– All sessions will be recorded for your own personal viewing after the retreat
– afternoons to reflect, to explore the area, to laze in a hammock or by the lake, to socialize or to be on your own
– three vegetarian meals per full day, starting with dinner on the first day and ending with breakfast on the last day: delicious home-cooked vegetarian food using local produce.
– coffee, tea and fruit are available at all times.

– A discount for a 6 week Online Group only for those participants of this intensive retreat to continue to work together in the safe space that has been created in the retreat. Unmani likes to continue to offer her support even after the retreat to facilitate integration into the daily life.

The prices are per person and the total price includes all sessions with Unmani plus accommodation with full board.

Booking Procedure
To confirm your place at the intensive a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the cost is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made online via PayPal using a debit or credit card or by bank transfer. If you would like to pay in another currency or would like details to pay by bank transfer, please specify details in the booking form.

Cancellations
A deposit of 30% of the cost is non-refundable.
